CLIB, the Cluster industrielle Biotechnologie, is organizing an event for SMEs and start-ups. The Duesseldorf-headquartered cluster is inviting both SMEs and start-ups, as well as investors, industry experts, and consultants to apply for the fourth “SME & Start-up Pitch Event @ CLIB” on 3 September 2025 in Düsseldorf (in-person event).
SMEs and start-ups are additionally invited to the “boost your network satellite event” on 25 August 2025, online. What is the event about? The transition of the chemical industry towards defossilisation and sustainability will take a broad variety of new processes and products. But having new ideas and technologies will not be enough, according to CLIB. Scaling innovations needs motivated people, a strong network of experts working together, and investors to provide the necessary capital. Thus, CLIB will again bring together innovators, experts, and investors for the fourth annual “SME & Start-up Pitch Event @ CLIB” on 3 September 2025 in Düsseldorf to exchange ideas, build connections, and advance technologies capable of making a difference.
SMEs and start-ups will pitch their business in short presentations and have plenty of time to network with the invited investors, industry experts, and consultants. The circular bioeconomy needs Venture Capitals to take a step forward.
