
Catania will be the Mediterranean capital of bioeconomy from June 4 to June 6. In the Italian city located at the heart of Southern Europe will take place the first edition of the BioINSouth Forum, hosted by the Aula Magna of the University of Catania.
This forum will bring together leaders and experts from various sectors and disciplines from South Europe and beyond, to discuss and outline the R&I priorities in bioeconomy, in conjunction with the particularities of the South European regions.
Organised under the workplan of BioINSouth project cofunded by the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU) and the EU, the event will focus on the regional aspects of bioeconomy, and the development of R&I strategies and policies.
With unique insights from the CBE JU Work Programme team, and national/regional players and policymakers in the field of bioeconomy, the BioINSouth Forum aims at becoming a leading bioeconomy event at European level, building a bridge with other continents such as Africa and Asia.
