Everything is ready in Reims, France, to host the seventh edition of Efib. EuropaBio, the European Association for Bioindustries, and Smithers Rapra in association with IAR-Pole return in 2014 from 30 September to 2 October to deliver the European Forum for Industrial Biotechnology and the Biobased Economy. EFIB is the premier market place for the European Biobased economy. Over 800 professionals, working within the dynamic and sustainable biobased industries sector, will be in attendance.
Year on year EFIB has grown to become Europe’s Leading event for Industrial Biotechnology and for good reason. It is now the meeting place for all who are part of the biobased economy.
This year at Efib participants will debate the impact of the shale gas revolution, discover new and novel partnerships within biobased value chains and discuss the challenges of building a sustainable biobased economy with panellists from Shell, Amyris, Coca Cola, Suedzucker and other important world players, including representatives from Givaudan, Nike, Unilever, DSM, Total and the European Commission.
In Reims there will be – the organizers say – the opportunity to see a biorefinery in action and join tours of the European Institute of Biorefinery Reims Champagne-Ardenne.
