LanzaTech Awarded Contract by Jakson Green for Next Generation Carbon Recycling Facility

LanzaTech, the Illonois-headquartered carbon recycling company, has been awarded a contract by Jackson Green, a new energy transition platform, to provide their 4G ethanol technology to India’s largest power generation utility company NTPC Limited. NTPC’s facility in Central India will use LanzaTech’s technology platform and second generation bioreactor to convert CO2 emissions and green H2 into ethanol.

Neste and Mitsubishi Corporation established a strategic partnership focusing on developing value chains for renewable chemicals and plastics for and with Japanese brands. The partners are targeting brands in industries such as food and beverage, apparel, and consumer electronics. Through the partnership, Neste and MC aim to accelerate their efforts to build defossilized supply chains for brand owners in Japan.

UPM Biochemicals and Nokian Tyres, a leading developer and manufacturer of premium tires, are set for an industry first with its concept tire partly based on UPM BioMotion™ Renewable Functional Fillers (RFF). The partnership will launch UPM’s CO₂-negative Renewable Functional Fillers (From cradle to gate, considering biogenic carbon from UPM’s feedstock and purchasing 100% green electricity) into a new market segment and highlights the possibilities to use a lighter weight, 100% renewable alternative to traditional CO₂-intensive fillers.
